Our second visit. Lovely hotel with quirky furniture made from fallen trees in the New Forest. Welcome coffee and cake and your own named parking place (ours had a welcome back in addition to our names!). Great food at the White Tails restaurant (which is in house) - the breakfasts set you up for the rest of the day! Comfortable rooms and staff there who go the extra mile for your comfort.

Our room was fantastic. We've really enjoyed our stay but were a little concerned when we turned up and they had no record of our booking. They sorted it out, though. Great location for walks around the New Forest and Brockenhurst is really nice. Will look at returning at some point in the summer.

This hotel is in a beautiful atmospheric 17th century building which is really well located in the village. The room was very clean and comfortable. The amazing breakfasts use locally sourced ingredients. And the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

It was a surprise for my wife as it was her birthday and our wedding anniversary. After initially having a problem regarding our booking which I did through secret escape we were shown our room. Very comfortable with an ensuite bathroom. A nice tea and cakes for us on arrival and a bottle of preseco in our room. Very comfortable large bed. Great location for a walk around Brockenhurst and the New Forest. Definitely recommend, and we will be returning during the warmer months.

The hotel is in a really charming historic cottage with beautiful features and great attention to detail in the art and furnishings, like how each room is individually named. Our room was gorgeous, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and absolutely comfortable and quiet at night. Everything we needed was provided, the breakfasts in the morning were delicious, and our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions for how to spend our days in the New Forest. I'd definitely recommend the Cottage Lodge to anybody.
